About
Tim is an award winning children’s book illustrator who has a real passion for character design and storytelling. His illustration work has been described as ‘story telling with whimsical charm, warmth and humour’ and he’d like to think that is pretty true!
To date, he has illustrated over 60 children’s books. Included in his folio are the hugely popular ‘Magic Pet Shop’ series (Hachette), the ‘20 to Bedtime’ series written by Mark Sperring (Scholastic), the ‘Big Shark, Little Shark’ series by Anna Membrino (Random House Kids) the young Fiction series ‘Lizzie & Lucky’ by Megan Rix (Puffin) and the ‘This Is Me’ books by CBeebies star George Webster (Scholastic).
More recently, Tim has illustrated the‘ Michael the Amazing Mind Reading Sausage Dog’ trilogy by Terrie Chilvers (Firefly) which has been chosen as part of Blue Peter’s brand new Book Club (CBBC) and has illustrated the Special CBeebies Bedtime Story on Children In Need read by Hollywood star Gary Oldman!
Tim has also produced character design work for animation companies ‘Big Bad Boo’ and ‘Spin Master’
Tim enjoys long distance running (having finished the 2026 London Marathon) and lives with his wife by the sea on Hayling Island with their pets Baxter and Alfie.
